When I was 10 years old, I served as a Kamuro (Attendant to the Divine Messenger) of the Naginatahoko Float.
Since then, I have continued serving as an active musician of the Naginatahoko.
This is not a typical sightseeing tour.
It is an opportunity to experience the Gion Festival through the eyes of someone who has been part of it for many years.

About the Chimaki
The Naginatahoko Chimaki is a traditional protective charm believed to bring good health, safety and protection.
Every year, thousands of people wait in long lines to receive one.
Guests joining this experience will receive an authentic Chimaki without waiting in line.
