Experience an authentic Japanese tea ceremony in the beautiful natural setting of Kibune, Kyoto. Surrounded by the sound of flowing water and the cool mountain breeze, you'll discover a different side of Kyoto away from the city's crowds. This experience includes: • Introduction to Japanese tea culture and the Yabunouchi school • Traditional tea ceremony demonstration • Two seasonal Japanese sweets • Refreshing cold matcha tea (hot tea available upon request) • Hands-on matcha making experience This is a private experience designed for guests who wish to enjoy Japanese culture at a relaxed pace. Take home not only the coolness of Kibune, but also a sense of inner calm through Japanese tea.

Cancellation Policy

Weather & Payment This is a seasonal outdoor experience held on a kawadoko platform above the Kibune River. As the experience is closely connected to the natural environment, the location may be changed depending on weather conditions. We will check the weather forecast one day before the experience. If conditions are suitable for the kawadoko, the experience will take place in Kibune as scheduled. If rain is forecast in advance and the kawadoko cannot be used, we will offer you the option of a private tea ceremony at our traditional tea space in Kyoto City instead. In this case, the price will be adjusted to our standard private tea ceremony rate. In the event of an unexpected sudden rainstorm or severe weather after your Kibune experience has begun, we will move indoors at Denbei and continue the experience safely. As the kawadoko venue will already have been prepared and reserved for your group, no price adjustment or refund will be provided in this case. Cancellation Policy Payment is normally requested one day before the experience, after the weather forecast and venue availability have been confirmed. A secure online payment link will be sent directly to you. Your reservation is officially confirmed once payment has been completed. Cancellations made by the guest after payment are non-refundable and subject to a 100% cancellation fee. Thank you for your understanding that this is a seasonal experience held in the natural environment of Kibune. 天候・お支払いについて本体験は、貴船川の上に設置される川床で行う屋外の季節限定体験です。そのため、天候状況により開催場所を変更する場合がございます。開催前日に天気予報を確認し、晴天または川床での開催が可能と判断した場合は、予定通り貴船で開催いたします。事前に雨天が予想され、川床の設置・利用が難しい場合は、京都市内にある当方の茶室でのプライベート茶道体験への変更をご案内いたします。その場合、料金は通常の茶道体験料金へ変更いたします。開催当日に予測できないゲリラ豪雨や急な天候悪化が発生した場合は、安全を最優先し、でんべ店内へ移動して体験を継続いたします。この場合、すでに川床の会場準備・確保を行っているため、料金の変更・返金はございません。キャンセルについてお支払いは原則として開催前日に、天候および会場の利用可否を確認したうえで、オンライン決済リンクをお送りいたします。お支払い完了をもって予約確定となります。決済完了後のお客様都合によるキャンセルは、キャンセル料100％となり、返金はいたしかねます。自然の中で行う季節限定の体験であることをご理解いただけますと幸いです。
