Working Spaces, Not Showrooms

These are not tourist attractions or staged demonstrations.
You will visit real working spaces where Kyoto’s artisans continue their craft today.

Visits are arranged with respect for each artisan’s work and schedule.

As a member of a fourth-generation Kyoto kimono family, I help connect guests with artisans through relationships built within Kyoto’s textile community.

How It Works

1. Tell me what interests you
Share your preferred date, number of guests, available time, and the crafts you are interested in.

2. I check with the artisans
I will contact suitable studios and confirm their availability for your date.

3. Receive your personalized plan
I will propose a route based on the available artisans and your interests.

4. Confirm your experience
Once the details and fees are agreed, your experience will be confirmed.

Fees

Guide fee and artisan visit fees vary depending on the experience.

The final fee depends on the number of studios, duration, transportation, and any visit or workshop fees charged by the artisans.

No fixed package price. Each experience is arranged individually.
